The Only Way Is Up

To celebrate the historic announcement by the Camogie Association tonight, the Kevins girls decided to make a little bit of their own history and get promoted to Intermediate 1 grade. Many years of hard work by a number of club stalwarts have paid off with tonight’s promotion and with some superb talent coming through the juvenile ranks we are confident that we can build on this success!

Notable amongst tonight’s squad was mother and daughter combo Jenny and Chloe Kearns. Jenny has been instrumental in developing the underage structures in Kevins in recent years and is a mentor on Dublin Minor Camogie squad that Chloe is a member of.

While the girls were wearing a combination of skorts and shorts, Maggie Grace decided to go one further and wear a sash! Maggie was unavailable for comment about her attire, but a spokesperson for Maggie confirmed that no rules we broken and that she was made wear the sash for the team photo as she was getting married on Saturday 31st May. When questioned why the team physio Eoin Fehily did not make himself available for the team photo, Maggies spokesperson confirmed that he was too busy organising the wedding! We wish both Maggie and Eoin the very best of luck on the 31st and look forward to hearing if Maggie wears skorts or shorts on her wedding day!
