Féile Success and Weekend Results

We had great support for our Under 15 hurlers as they hosted Ballyboden Saint Endas in the Féile semi-final in Dolphin Park today.  Our lads put in a great performance… Our boys were up seven at half time, but Ballyboden came out of the blocks quickly with two quick goals and a point to level it and we looked in trouble. However from 1 to 23, they dug deep and won comfortably in the end. Final score 5-9 to 3-5. The final is scheduled for 12th May and our opposition will be our neighbours Ranelagh Gaels.

Our camogie Féile squad are in action next week and hopefully last years experience will stand to them. Some of our girls were in action today, kicking the big ball with St James Gaels who won their Feile final. Congratulations to all involved!

We have a long and proud tradition of competing in the Féile na nGael and as the excitement builds, someone usually asks are we the first team to get to a final 🙂 so below is a lookback to our roll of honour for the stats and history geeks. Hopefully we can add to this over the coming weeks!
