A Small Ball For All

As we enter our 120th year of promoting Gaelic games in Dublin’s south city we are proud to say we now offer a small ball for all with hurling, camogie, rounders and our latest venture handball.

All our hurling and camogie teams are back training including our Donore Avenue Credit Union ABC Nursery and Kevin’s Heroes on Saturday mornings.

Our adult social rounders group are also back on Sunday afternoons and on Friday we resurrected our involvement with handball when we brought a small group across to the recently built GAA Handball Centre in Croke Park for some #HealthyHandball. The feedback was very positive from our participants and parents on the night and some of the parent also joined in. Many thanks to Rob Farrelly for facilitating and to the coaches from Na Fianna and St Brigids for helping on the night.

It’s been over 80 years since we last played handball so while we have a lot of enthusiasm we don’t have many experienced handball coaches.  If you have experience and would like to get involved and help us re-establish handball in in the city please get in touch.
